Attempted jail break by some set of gunmen on Port Harcourt Prisons, in the Rivers State capital was yesterday, botched by alert security men. The attack it was gathered was meant to free inmates but backfired.
It was gathered that the gunmen had launched the attack on the prisons located near Bundu Waterfront from Bundu Waterside in the Town axis, but the prison security men fired back. The number of casualties is yet unknown.
